# Downgrade subscription

> Need fewer features or a lighter plan? Downgrade your Same.new subscription easily. Keep building with the flexibility to scale up or down.

## How to Downgrade Your Subscription

You can downgrade your subscription through the settings page:

1. Go to [same.new/settings](https://same.new/settings)
2. Click "Manage Subscription"
3. Select a lower-tier plan from the pricing modal
4. Confirm your downgrade selection

## When Changes Take Effect

* You'll be billed at the lower rate for the new plan from the next billing cycle
* You can always choose to switch back to another plan when needed

## Downgrading to Free Plan

To switch to the Free plan, you need to cancel your current subscription.

  The Free plan includes 500,000 agent tokens per month. Make sure this will be sufficient for your usage before downgrading.
